I photographed Sacha’s sisters (Kalegh & her husband Darran’s) wedding quite a few years ago and fell head over heels in love with this family. When Sacha got in touch with me after all these years to tell me she’d found ‘the one’ I raced round to see them. I knew Andrew had to be someone unbelievably amazing to win the heart of this absolute beauty, and he was. We laughed all evening. Fast forward to the big day and within the first 15 minutes of meeting the bridal party, we were all rolling around laughing like old times. It was perfect. I was home, with my sisters from another mister.
The morning just flew by so fast and it was time to meet Andrew and his best woman at the quirky and fabulous Irlam Station. What a venue! . Just something so different and exciting. Led by her beautiful bride tribe, Sacha glided down the aisle to Andrew and there wasn’t a dry eye on the station platform. The bridesmaids and guests sang through the entire signing of the register, seriously, I’ve never seen anything like it. It was electric.
After a few celebratory drinks it was off to The Black Swan in Hollins Green (just across from the church I was married in myself). The venue was perfect and the entertainment was on point, just a musical menagerie, with so much joy, and dancing, with a joyride on the zipline or a ride on the park tractor for good measure. It was like a family reunion, and I couldn’t get enough of it. Sacha & Andrew are beautiful people and I wish both of them all the love, luck, health wealth and happiness their hearts can hold; They deserve it all and more. Much Love, Lisa
