I've known Andrea for a long time, she is one of my sisters best friends and has been for 30 years. I was thrilled when she asked me to capture all the memories from their wedding day. Diane is hands down, the best thing to ever happen to Andrea, never have I seen her happier or more herself than when they are together. Back in the day, Andrea's mum and dad ran our local pub, the place I played dominoes at every weekend, without fail. Andrea's dad Mike was always larger than life and truly missed on this wonderful day; But being with all of Andrea's family and familiar friendly faces, I could feel him right there, no doubt leaning on the bar with one arm like always. Diane's family were so welcoming and being with these amazing women all morning let me see how beautifully blended a family they would become after today. I met them all just buzzing with excitement on a super sunny day at the Everglades. Getting glammed up and prettied to perfection, the girls were chatting and telling stories, and there was so much laughter and fun. Exactly what you need on a wedding day. The time flew so quickly and before I knew it I was headed to the venue to meet with Diane. I arrived at the fabulous Hayloft Barn set amongst rolling fields and farmland, the weather couldn't be more perfect. Diane looked amazing in her tailored trousers, shirt and waistcoat, with their best four legged friend as the ring bearer. Everyone was arriving and after some fun with Diane and her family we got ready for both the brides' official arrivals. Diane was escorted down the aisle on the arm of her proud nephew Keiron (one of my nephew Brad's best friends). Then it was Andrea's turn and she looked absolutely breath-taking in her Grecian chiffon gown, all the bridesmaids (yes Julia, especially including you) looked so beautiful, friends, family and their children, so happy to celebrate this special and wonderful couple. Mikey, Andrea's son, led his mum down the aisle and not a dry eye. There were happy tears though, laughter and just genuine happy joy, It was so special. Once the I do's were done the party got started and these two just don't know when to quit. It was stunning inside the rustic barn with a beautiful window showing you right across the farmland. Under twinkle lights and a golden sunset we partied the night away. I want to wish Diane & Andrea, all the love, luck, good health, wealth and happiness their hearts can hold, they deserve it all. It was amazing to work with all the amazing wedding suppliers and especially The Hayloft, it was such an incredible day and you worked tirelessly to make it everything Diane & Andrea had dreamed of.
