I first met Pete & Mel when I was photographing their friends wedding. Mel and some other friends were busy dropping the bride at the time (no lasting injuries eh Mike & Sandy). Pete & Mel have a gorgeous blended family, including a mini replica of them both, you can see the bonds between everyone and its beautiful. Mel gave Pete free reign on planning the wedding and between them both they planned an extravaganza, fit for royalty!.
I met the bridal party early in the morning and hair and makeup was well underway. There was a buzz of anticipation and excitement and we laughed our way through the morning, it was so much fun. Before we knew it, the bride made her entrance. Turns out it was Miss Charlie Williams who thought it should have been her! Had everyone laughing hard though. Cue the bridesmaids and Jacob who carried Heidi in his arms. The next minute, the breath-taking bride stood at the top of the aisle, on the arm of her proud son Harrison, and I watched as most, including me and the groom, reached for a tissue.
I felt like I blinked and the set fast on the day, but the adventures weren’t yet over. We still had two first dances, A 5 tier west country cheese cake, and some dancing to be done. It was magical. I cried laughed, hugged and had the best day ever. These two incredibly wonderful people deserve so much joy and happiness. Thank you for choosing me to share your magnificent wedding day, ill never forget it. Much Love, Lisa x
