Tracey & Richard were childhood sweethearts, but as the heavens would have it, the timing just wasn’t right. Fast forward the years and after each marrying separately and building their own families, they both found themselves single, and this time the timing was absolutely spot on. With their blended families and all the friends, they know and love, they set to marry at the incomparable ‘Oddfellows’ in Chester. A stunning quirky building set in the historical city centre, with its own botanical garden and rooftop terrace.
I arrived at the venue, and everything was chilled and relaxed, the sun had his hat on, and the roof terrace was filling up with family and friends. They definitely got the memo and dressed to occasion, hats galore and glorious colours, after all, they were ‘out out’ and there was celebrating to do. The gorgeous Tracey was getting ready with her bridesmaids (Richard’s daughters) having their hair magically sculpted and makeup carefully and expertly applied. They looked phenomenal. The flowers by La Beau Fleurs were absolutely stunning, a triumph of colour, all tied with a burnt orange ribbon. Tracey’s incredible champagne tulle and sequin gown was so elegant and wistful, she looked sensational in it.
Before long it was time for the ‘I do’s’ and everyone was ushered in. It was so emotional and utterly romantic. After I stole the couple away for a walk through the Roman Walled Garden, we headed back to the party. It was wonderfully sunny on the rooftop terrace and the guests had a ball celebrating the happy couple. The Band had the dancefloor filled and Oddfellows fed the guests a fabulous feast. Thank you for letting me share your wonderful wedding day. Wishing you both all the joy and happiness. Much Love, Lisa
