I met Stephen & Lyndsey when I photographed her nieces wedding and I was honoured to be chosen to capture the moments from their big day. The fact is that these two fell in love over wham bars when they were 8 years old in primary school. Unfortunately Stephen didn’t maintain a steady daily bribe of wham bars to keep his girl sweet, so sadly the romance fizzled out. However fast forward ‘some’ years, and this gorgeous twosome met again and fell head over heels in love (without the need for wham bar bribery this time). They made a beautiful family together and 14 years later, here we are.
I met the girls at the Bears Head Hotel, full of bubbling excitement and nerves, with the beautiful dresses hanging ready to be worn. We had a giggle getting everyone ready and beautified for the big day ahead and before long I had to meet the boys. I drove to the picturesque St James Church in Gawsworth, surrounded by two beautiful fishing lakes and chocolate box cottages. There were some nerves but more excitement than anything. Before long the groom was eagerly awaiting his bride at the bottom of the aisle. Lyndsey looked absolutely stunning and Stephen couldn’t take the smile off his face when he saw his girl.
Finally after all these years it was Mr & Mrs Fountain, and in their gorgeous campervan we all made our way to the incredible Heaton House Farm to really get the party going. It was drinks, laughter and fun the whole afternoon. With family & friends, those they love most in the world. It was a joy and a privilege to share this day with you all. Wishing you and your beautiful family all the love, luck, good health, wealth and happiness your hearts can hold. Much Love, Lisa xx
