Rachel & Shaun are the loveliest of people, both are teachers in Qatar but chose to celebrate their wedding closer to home so all they know and love could share it with them. With two beautiful boys of their own, their family unit almost complete, it was just a case of making it official so they could finally begin and celebrate their love.
I met Rachel & Shaun at the beautiful Abbey House and Gardens in Barrow in Furness, a stunning Neo-Elizabethan mansion, just outside of Windermere. They clearly brought the middle eastern weather with them and there wasn’t a single cloud in the sky. I met Rachel and her bride tribe in the bridal suite getting prettied to perfection, the room was filled to the brim with best friends and a fabulous soundtrack of laughter. The prosecco was flowing and so was the fun and fabulousness. The fellas were looking absolutely dapper in their black tuxedo’s and, as it should be, sporting some pre wedding nerves.
Bob Williams (Toastmaster) had the whole room feeling the love, all to the backing music from the most sensational harpist. Shaun is a guy who knows the love of his life when he meets her, and he only had eyes for the stunning Rachel, led into the room on her proud dads arm, flanked by her beautiful bridesmaids and handsome page boys. Never let it be said that these two don’t know how to throw a party.
There was a party to envy all parties with clay shooting, confetti bombs, sax player, Musicians and sparklers, it was a veritable buffet of all things amazing. This family deserve so much joy and happiness and this was a day Ill never forget. Thank you for letting me share this incredible day with you. It was so magical. Much Love, Lisa x
