Once upon a 2019 I met up with Sam & Heather. Straight away I knew they were ‘my people’, you all know what I’m like and who my people are so this will make perfect sense. We went on a fabulous adventure, with a dream of an Abbeywood Estate outdoor Wedding, if you’re going to dream a perfect day, you might as well go big. Even a pandemic didn’t cause these two to falter. It was simply just book another date and crack on. I love that about them. They even paid me well over a year in advance because they thought id need the money more than them. This is who Sam & Heather are, and I was all in.
I arrived at Abbeywood Estate, Delamere, early, because I couldn’t help myself, and I met the girls in top form, all excitedly getting ready for this long awaited day. They were beautified in the dressing room, all the while listening to the Gospel Choir rehearsing in the Barn, it was so chilled and relaxed. The fine rain had stopped and we were all a go for the outside ceremony they’d dreamed of.
Sam & the boys arrived with time to spare and before long they were suited and booted and ready to get the party started. Soon all the wedding party VIP’s were arriving. Wedding, we are a go. Under that July sky, and the incredible @gospelchoirforweddings reminding us all that we were alive, full of happiness and had everything before us; Led by her ‘ride or die’ girls, and on the arm of her proud dad. Heather took her last walk as a single woman. Heather looked sensational in her elegant Kenneth Winston embroidered gown with detachable embroidered train/skirt, but she only had eyes for one handsome fella, Sam.
The day flowed beautifully, There were so many tears of joy and so much laughter. In the sunshine, friends told funny stories, drank, celebrated and reminded each other how much they love them. There was music, singing, dancing, speeches, cake, and colourful smoke bombs, sax player, awesome DJ, pups, races and cuddles. It was awesome and I got to share it all. Thank you Heather & Sam, for trusting me to capture your day and loving me like family. Ill never forget it. Wishing you both all the love, luck, health wealth and happiness your hearts can hold. Much Love Lisa x
