Lucy & Paddy found me through one of my old high school friends, we met up, what seems like years ago, and actually is! The global pandemonium fluffed up some wedding dates, but these two are childhood sweethearts and they were always going to get married, no matter what.
So off to the Lucy’s parents house I went, her mum and bridesmaids had a well organised schedule of makeup and hair and everyone was being pampered and prettied. Even Dermot O’Leary rang from Radio 2 to ask Lucy’s cousin and chief bridesmaid Jill, to see how the morning was going! When I thought things couldn’t get any more crazy, I noticed a charm Lucy had for her bouquet which was made by one of my former brides, Rebecca Williams. Turns out Jill used to teach at the same school with her. It’s a small world. Once Lucy had her incredible Mori Lee gown on from Vikki Leigh Bridal, the scene was complete. Lucy’s dad David couldn’t believe his eyes, and everyone was completely overcome with emotion. Lucy was getting married.
I raced to St Oswald Church in Winwick to meet the fella’s for a few shots (photos not drinks), and to get ready for the brides big arrival in her ‘I Do Campers’ campervan. The Church was filled to the brim with all Paddy & Lucy know and love most. Just a glance over his shoulder was enough to bring Paddy to tears. Lucy looked utterly stunning. Soon they were Mr & Mrs and we were off to Mere Court to really get the party started. It was an incredible day, the sun was cracking the flags and the beer and wine was flowing. Its what its all about. Family, friends, love and laughing until the tears roll down your face. Wishing these two all the love, luck, good health, wealth and happiness their hearts can hold. Thanks for sharing such a special day with me. Much Love, Lisa x
