Nick & Rebecca aren’t strangers to me, theirs is the second wedding I’ve photographed for their family, and third, if we include their friends. That means, were all acquainted and we can hit the ground running and laughing. Everyone is always relaxed around me so I know the photos will be too and I cant wait.

I met the family at Rebecca’s house were the brides sisters/bridesmaids were running the show. Anne & Graham were keeping us fed and fuelled and we just had the most chilled and fun morning catching up on old times and making new and beautiful wedding memories. Calvin had us all captivated with his cuteness and really got stuck in with the bridal party spirit.

I raced to the Park Royal Hotel in Stretton and met a tuxedo clad groom, looking a little delicate, but he was definitely maybe not nervous. To be fair I think Nick knew he would marry Rebecca the minute she stole his heart, so this was the easiest decision he ever made. We had a little stroll around the grounds then got the guys inside. The bride was on her way.

Cue the acoustic guitar, sunshine at the ready, and ACTION! A wee Calvin had a touch of stage fright at the top of the aisle, but with Aunty Sandy & Auntie Lynda right there behind him, he found the confidence to saunter down the aisle to his Dad (pause to blot tears). Then Rebecca walked in and it was game over, looking utterly sensational in her incredible puure bridal wedding gown. You could see from everyone’s faces, how happy they were to share this beautiful moment

Once we finished the ‘ido’s’ we got cracking with the ‘lets do’s’ and the party started. The speeches had us rolling in our chairs and definitely carried the fun vibe right through. Once the food was eaten, the dancefloor was filled fast with a surprising win from Blippy’s ‘Excavator’ song which brought down the house. It was just the most fabulous wedding from start to finish. With all the highlights to look back on, twirls, dancing, live performances from Band of Covers and Danny Jewell Magician.

This gorgeous little family deserve a world of love, fun and adventures. It all starts here. Sending you all my love and wishes that we get together at a wedding again soon. Lisa xx
