Mike & Sandy are the cutest couple ever. Since they got together Mike has played a huge part in the lives of Sandys daughters, Scarlet & Caitlyn. It takes a special man to be an incredible father figure in their lives and they absolutely adore Mike, and rightly so. Its easy to see how much they adore each other and the design they dreamed of for their big day was everything that I love. A pure family orientated fun beautiful Church Wedding at St Thomas’s in Stockton Heath, followed by a gorgeous vintage village hall afternoon Tea Party.
Sandy wore the most incredible strapless, lace, fit and flair gown from Candystripe Couture. Mike and his best men’s suits were also from there, and I absolutely loved their tweed waistcoats. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house watching Scarlet & Caitlyn lead their breath-taking beautiful mum down the aisle. After one of the most refreshing and uplifting Church wedding Ceremony’s we jumped into cars and made our way to Grappenhall Walled Garden. It really was perfect. Incredibly beautiful and sunny weather and a stunning couple in gorgeous surroundings.
Back to St Thomas Village Hall, and we walked in to a gobsmacking beautiful Hall decorated to perfection by Empress Events and catered by Eden’s Catering. Every person who walked in to the room was completely wowed by the burlap and lace table decorations, little teacups and saucers and towering cake displays and gorgeous platters of food, with a free ‘home made bar’, and a play area for the kids… It doesn’t really get better than this.
The day was so wonderful, so full of love, and happiness and celebration and I adored every minute. Even though the bride’s friends dropped her on the floor (see photo evidence), the crocs and socks saga, and surprising the happy couple with a beautiful serenading song and convincing them to do a first dance that they had no clue they were going to do. It was awesome.
I loved working with all these amazing wedding suppliers, Thanks goes to the amazing vergers at St Thomas Church and the wonderful Vicar, Candystripe Couture, Empress Events, Eden Catering, Pretty Petals Flowers, Laura Rose Makeup, Michelle Simpson Hair and the amazing Cake made by the bride’s sister. I want to wish Mike & Sandy every happiness, they deserve it so much. Much Love, Lisa x
