Joshua & Rachel are childhood sweethearts, that rare sweet beauty that is utterly true and ‘meant for each other’ kind of love. They are best friends and full of excitement to share this beautiful journey of life, side by side, adventure after adventure. They chose the beautiful Heaton House Farm, with its rustic and quaint barn set in rolling countryside, for their big day and it proved to be all they’d dreamed of and more. I met the girls in the fabulous in-house salon. True to her calm demeanour under pressure (our bride Rachel is an A&E Nurse), was utterly relaxed and more than ready to finally call her best friend her husband. Rachels family and tribe of beautiful bridesmaids were busying themselves, getting even more beautified by a n elite duo of professional hairdresser and makeup artist. Creating works of art with the girls hair and flawless bridal looks.
The boys were a mischievous bunch and so much fun to be around, watching them huddled around an iPhone attempting a tricky tie knot had everyone laughing their heads off. Even Joshua’s nerves weren’t anywhere to be seen. This is a man who knew that the woman of his dreams would be walking into his arms in a few short hours.
The time flew by and before we knew it Rachel was going to put on ‘the dress’. An absolutely stunning Stella York Gown from Puure Bridal in Lymm. All of the bridesmaids had not seen the dress so when they were called into the bridal suite the surprise and joy on their faces was so emotional. Rachel looked sensational.
With the sun streaming through the barn windows and all eyes on the doorway, the bridesmaids led the way. On her proud dads arm, Amy strode down the aisle into the arms of her best friend and, ill be honest, I should have brought more tissues!! *emotional*
Once they were Mr & Mrs it was on to the fun and the party and the sunshine really helped everyone get into the mood. With their friend Craig Whittaker on acoustic guitar everyone was treated to some fantastic music. We skipped into the beautifully decorated room (by Flossie’s) set for the wedding breakfast adorned with the most magnificent blossom trees and magical glass globes. The guests were treated to some beautiful speeches and plenty of celebratory drinks. When you are having fun time definitely flies and before long the DJ set up the dance floor and the evening guests arrived to help party the night away. With a treat for everyone in the form of Light it up entertainment Sax player. You couldn’t get onto the dancefloor for everyone throwing shapes. What an incredible wedding.
I wish Joshua and Rachel so much love, luck, good health, wealth and all the happiness their hearts can hold. They deserve it all. Much Love, Lisa x
