Cath & John have been together forever… literally. Like Cath said to me, you cant rush into these things. Now, with their two gorgeous little girls trying to grow up too quickly, they thought it was time for it all to be made official. Even when a global pandemic tried to fluff with their big plans, they powered on and managed to pull it all together, including booking me, with a few weeks to spare.
I met John at St Oswalds church in Padgate, where storm Eunice was trying her best to rain herself out. The Groomsmen knew the assignment, they were keeping the grooms nerves at bay with some mischief and laughter. The prescription for today, was family, friends and fun and celebrating the way they do best. The next thing you know, the bridal party were arriving and the sun put his hat on, especially for the occasion.
Led by her bridesmaids, Cath literally glided down the aisle. John couldn’t wipe the smile off his face, she looked sensational. The best thing about these two is that as long as they are looking at each other, they are either laughing or pulling faces trying to make each other laugh. The day just flew by so fast, before we knew it, afternoon tea was being served and the speeches rounding the afternoon up. With Pamela Driscolls magnificent wedding cake she made for her friends. I left shortly after the dancefloor filled up. What a fantastic day, I want to wish John & Cath all the love, luck, good health, wealth and happiness their hearts can hold.
