Jeanette lives and works round the corner from me and found most of her fab wedding suppliers right on her doorstep. James & Jeanette had already had to rearrange their big day due to covid. Even with the news fluctuating these two held it together and pressed forward for the day they very much deserved.
30 James Street was back up and running like the weddings had never stopped. Everyone was so hyped and excited and I knew this would be one to remember. Jeanette was up in a stunning suite overlooking the docks, and her besties, niece and daughter were on hand and on form; Being beautified by two of the best, Natasha @ N V Beauty, and Samantha Gannon on Bridal Hair. It was a hive of activity. Rachel from La Beau Fleurs dressed the venue beautifully and brought the most incredible bouquets which matched the elegant theme just perfectly. Jeanette slipped into her stunning Essense of Australia Mermaid Mikado Bridal Gown, with a click of her Jimmy Choo’s, a spritz of Chanel No5, the princess was ready for her prince.
The boys were truly on pure comedic form, flaunting their lifelong friendships as they should well be. Those kind of ‘raw & real’ friendships are so hard to find. James couldn’t take his eyes off his bride, neither could the rest of the room. As soon as they were Mr & Mrs we dashed across the strand and took a walk alongside the Liver Buildings and the river, always a treat. Even the office workers rushed to their windows to celebrate with the happy couple. Then it was up to the Carpathia and an afternoon of drinks and delicious food, so much love, and laughter and joy. Lots of joy. Big shout out to Connlan (Jeanette’s Son) for 2nd shooting for fun. It was a pleasure to work with you fella. I expect great things. So, if you love, laughter, mischief, singing (Patrick McGarry), dancing, sunsets, roof terraces, and Liverpool, then this wedding is all you need and more. Love to James and Jeanette, and your gorgeous friends and family, it was an incredible adventure, wishing you both all the happiness your hearts can hold. Much Love, Lisa x
